This Trout rug features a beautiful trout in rich vibrant colors, hand printed with high quality dye on a hand braided jute rug.
A fisherman friend, upon seeing the trout fish rug, remarked: “I wish I could land one like that but then again that’s why they call it fishing, not catching!”
The design is by Harry W. Smith and it is hand stenciled.
It is not only beautiful but also strong and durable as it is handmade from natural, 100% eco-friendly Jute fiber. Jute has been used in rugs for many years because of it natural water repellent characteristics.
Jute is a natural fiber, considered to be a sustainable, environmentally friendly material. Water repellent, safe to put near a fireplace, spot clean with soap and water (or dry clean).
But pretty as it it, this area rug is tough as nails. Made of 100% jute, it is made to last.
This is an eco-friendly rug that will give you years of use, and then it can be composted as jute is biodegradable.
