Johnson Brothers Friendly Village Dinnerware

The Johnson Bros Friendly Village Dinnerware set is reminiscent of quiet Christmas eves in an English countryside town with a gentle snowfall.

Like the Spode Christmas dishes, these dishes are made by an English company, Johnson Brothers, that has been making dinnerware for over 100 years.

This design is now made in China, while older versions were made in England. This particular pattern was introduce in 1953, and it is still being manufactured today

The Friendly Village, reminiscent of a small country village like those found in England or New England, is a charming and nostalgic village scene.

The set has lovely details and muted colors, giving it a rich country traditional look. This set is earthenware, not china.

Now made to be practical, the dinnerware can be used in the microwave, frozen in the freezer and cleaned in your dishwasher. They are durable enough for everyday use.
